We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to manage both Lake Grove Apartments (368 units) in Lake Grove and Woodmont Village (97 units) in Lake Ronkonkoma, New York. The Property Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and overseeing all aspects of community operations including staff performance, resident satisfaction and financial success. You inspire your team to perform at their best every day, while also creating a sense of community, reminding residents why they chose Home Properties as their home.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operational responsibilities of the properties, to include financial, marketing, customer service and staff management responsibilities.
Develop, plan and implement the budget to include charting the overall financial performance of the properties.
Handle recordkeeping and reporting responsibilities.
Oversee customer service, resident relations, maintenance department practices, vendor relations, marketing and leasing.
Qualifications:
Previous management experience that includes responsibility for operational results, sales, marketing and staff supervision is required (property management experience strongly preferred).
Must possess ability to develop rapport with residents and staff. Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving abilities, must be able to handle multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
